About the project Edit

In a country like Burundi where demographic pressure often leads to deforestation, firewood is the product that is becoming more and more rare. The sawdust heater consists of compacting sawdust with the end of a piece of wood inside a round heater. Already in the north, users greatly appreciate this technique not only because of the fuel’s sustainability, but also its relative low cost compared to firewood that is currently used and the cost of electricity which is very expensive.
