Mita, in the bamileke language, is a female name, which means ambitious, beautiful and full of character. This is how the magazine wants women to be seen. Promoting Cameroon women and encouraging them to be more in control, to be more responsible, etc. Most of the topics in Magazine 2.0 will be initiated by women through a website (forum) where they can exchange and share knowledge. The data and information on the website will then be published in a paper magazine to make it accessible to those who have difficulty going on the Internet.
The magazine is different from other women's magazines, which deal with matters that are already discussed. This magazine is about fashion and beauty and, above all, it promotes Cameroon women initiatives in this field. We cover more scientific topics (eg. access to drinking water and current cholera outbreaks, spontaneous neighbourhood diseases in our children) and more topics about women (single mothers, rape, sexual abuse of young girls, etc.), practical information sheets (how to create a project, make soap, make decorative objects and fabrics, etc.), how to promote local culture (traditional rituals, local languages, tourist sites, stories and literary works from home, etc.).
Promote Cameroonian women and their social, cultural and intellectual development.
In Cameroon, the Central African sub region and the rest of the world through the website.
