About the project Edit

We, along with the support of our volunteers and paid staff, are working toward the following objectives: to promote and increase the use of soccer as a tool for social development and to persuade decision-makers to adopt “development through soccer” as part of the strategy to stimulate development and peace on the African continent.

Our areas of action are:
• Children's rights
• Education
• Environment
• Health
• Social and urban issues and the fight against discrimination
• Peace and social integration
• Providing information and disease prevention through Soccer4Life
• Drilling potable water supply boreholes

Cholera is gaining more and more ground in Cameroon. According to the World Health Organization, “in 2005, Cameroon reported 2847 cases including 110 deaths.” In six years, the situation has only worsened, “As of 11 December 2011, 22 762 cases including 786 deaths have been reported” in Camaroon. The provinces in the Littoral, Ouest, Sud-Ouest, Extrême-Nord, Sud and Centre regions have been the hardest hit.
